Job Title: Deputy Manager - Nurse qualified (RMN ideally)
Salary: £29,952 to £35,755
Location: Northampton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager (RMN) post with a client of ours, it is for the delivery of dedicated mental health care for men with chronic mental ill-health. The CQC for this service is Good, with the service offering long stay rehabilitation, occupational therapy focused creative activities within a multi-disciplinary team with support including social worker inclusion.

The Deputy Manager will work and support the Unit Manager plus the existing Deputy managers ensuring effective management. The post holder will work within the principles of the agreed model of care for the service and the requirements of the Care Program Approach. We are looking to recruit an experienced nurse with a minimum of 5 years' post registration experience with the added experience of working within an inpatient setting. You will need to possess excellent leadership skills and be committed to the provision of excellent patient care within a challenging but rewarding environment where you can make a real difference.


This service is a lockable rehabilitation service that comprises of 99 beds purpose built facility that offers a rehabilitation service to those with ongoing Mental health needs. Our service is divided over 7 different wards, offering a specialist service for people with enduring mental health needs that require nursing in a gender specific setting. Our lockable rehabilitation unit can accept sectioned or informal clients and will offer a focused rehabilitation pathway aimed at meeting the needs of some of the more challenging users of mental health services.
The successful candidate will join and lead an experienced multidisciplinary team and will work alongside the well-established Multi-Disciplinary Team.


An understanding of CQUIN's, CQC inspections, knowledge of the latest legislation and government driven initiatives are essential.
